A big thing for me that pulled me to iXchange was the relationship aspect.
A big cry of my heart was for God-centered relationships. iXchange has done exactly that for me; it’s given me God-centered relationships that I’ll always cherish and value. I’ve made friends here at iXchange that will last a lifetime. They are not just friends like the world sees friendship. These are covenant friendships. I know that they have my back and they only want the best for me.
Since young, I’ve always known God has had a great plan for my life but I didn’t really know if I was in that plan and wasn’t too sure how to actually attain it. I knew iXchange would show me how I could inquire and seek God for the plan He has for my life.
Coming to iXchange was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. It’s given me direction and purpose and it’s set me up for a future in God.

When the Lord said, “I Will Take the Children,” through a series of messages from our spiritual leaders, no one knew at the time that iXchange Life Internship would be born. When we saw that a group of young people were going to join us in the ministry the following year, we began to engage in conversations with Dr. John.
At first, it seemed quite daunting, but faith prevailed and we as team leaders were ready and excited to embark on the new journey and serve where we were called to.
One of my greatest joys is to serve Dr. John in my gifting with my husband, Simon, to facilitate what we call Xpeditions. These are Xtreme adventures where we, as a group, venture to places where we haven’t been to before, are taken out of our comfort zones and have encounters with God as we sit for an extended time in the Word together… when we’re not on the road or setting up camp.
I count it a privilege to be a witness to how God has taken each iXchanger – seeing how they encounter God and are prepared to share their vulnerabilities can’t help but mark and change you.
iXchange is all about creating this environment where young people can encounter God. As a team leader, I am here to serve the young people, but I find myself so being served by the gifts that are around me. I witness and taste of the gift and fruit in each one’s life and am daily enriched by our unity in this space.
